By placing an order with us, you (the person named on the order) agree to the following business terms:
Orders
As an online company, all orders must be placed through our website. If you require a Proforma Invoice, please contact us at 01803 666630.
Prices
The price for each item is as displayed on our website at the time of your order. In rare cases, pricing errors may occur, and we reserve the right not to fulfill orders with incorrect prices. We will make every effort to match the incorrect price where possible and will contact you to explain the situation. We also reserve the right to refuse orders and refund payments.
VAT
Our prices are quoted both excluding and including VAT at the current UK rate.
Payment
We offer goods on a payment-with-order basis. You must pay in full when placing your order. We accept most major credit or debit cards, PayPal. Your order will be processed upon receipt of full payment.
Shipping
Most orders are processed on the same working day if received before 4 pm (unless stated otherwise in the product description).
Postage
We offer various delivery options at checkout, depending on your location, stock availability, total order value, and the size/weight of your order. Postage costs will be calculated based on your selected delivery option, delivery address, and basket contents.
UK Delivery
We can deliver to any UK address. Standard delivery is typically made by a national courier, and you will usually receive your goods on the next working day. In more remote or overseas areas, such as the Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Ireland, and the Channel Islands, delivery may take several days. Premium delivery options are available based on your location and order placement time. Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, and we are closed on Bank Holidays. Seasonal opening times will be announced as needed. Orders are processed until 4 pm; orders received after 4 pm will be processed on the next working day.
Receiving Your Order
Courier deliveries require an authorized signature unless you provide written authorization to leave the goods in a safe place. If your order is left as requested, it becomes your sole responsibility upon delivery. Royal Mail delivery options do not require a signature. If your goods are damaged during transit, we recommend not signing for delivery. If you discover damage upon opening your parcel, contact us within 24 hours, and we may require photographic evidence to file a claim with the courier company.
Availability
We strive to maintain adequate stock levels but may occasionally run out due to unexpected high demand. If this occurs, we will contact you with an estimated delivery date and offer the option to choose an alternative product or receive a full refund.
Cancellation
You can cancel your order until it is dispatched. We recommend contacting us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel, as we process orders quickly. If your order has already been dispatched, inquire about our returns procedure.
14 Day Refunds
If you no longer need your goods, contact us within 14 days of receipt to arrange a return. You have 14 days to return the goods. Items must be in their original packaging, unused, and in resalable condition. You are responsible for the costs associated with returning unwanted items. Contact us for a returns form and an authorization number. Once we receive the goods at our warehouse, we will process your refund within 14 days. Our Mistakes
While we strive to maintain an accurate website, mistakes can occur. We will make every effort to honor our price or provide a suitable solution in the event of errors. However, there may be rare instances where this is not possible. In such cases, we will issue a full refund. Please note that all images used are for illustrative purposes only, and features may vary.
Unexpected Circumstances
We will make every effort to address any interference to our business, such as strikes, war, acts of terrorism, or power cuts. However, we will not be held legally responsible for failures resulting from circumstances beyond our control, including weather, road accidents, and traffic affecting delivery times.
Legal Responsibility
These Terms of Business do not affect your statutory rights or limit our liability for death, personal injury, or fraudulent misrepresentation resulting from our negligence. If a problem arises, you may receive a refund or replacement under our Guarantee. Our liability is limited to a full refund of the goods purchased. We do not compensate for delivery delays or failures unless you have chosen a premium delivery option. In such cases, our liability is limited to a refund of the delivery charges you paid. We do not compensate for indirect or consequential loss or damage, except as described above.

You are solely responsible for the content of comments you make on our product reviews or on social networking websites to which we are linked, including Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, YouTube, and others. HiKOKI PowerTools Direct is not responsible for user-posted content or opinions. You are responsible for postings under your username. Our site may contain links to other sites, and we accept no responsibility for the content of any linked site. These links are provided as is, with no warranty, express or implied, for the information they contain.
Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment
We comply with WEEE regulations (January 2007) to reduce waste on certain electrical and electronic equipment. Items classified as WEEE should not be disposed of with normal household waste. We offer to take back waste WEEE products when you purchase an equivalent item from our website, or you can return them to our Head Office and Warehouse address: Loribon House, Aspen Way, Yalberton Industrial Estate, Paignton, Devon TQ4 7QR.
